In response to Coronavirus (COVID-19), additional safety and sanitation measures are currently in effect at this property. In accordance with government guidelines to minimize transmission of the Coronavirus (COVID-19), Oscar Resort Hotel may request additional documentation from guests to validate identity, travel itinerary, negative PCR test results which took 72 hours before the flight. Relevant information; This is necessary during these dates where such guidelines exist. If pandemic ends and confirmed by WHO than, the hotel will not ask guests any document on the date of arrival regarding the Covid-19. Food & beverage services at this property may be limited or unavailable due to Coronavirus (COVID-19). Due to Coronavirus (COVID-19), this property is taking steps to help protect the safety of guests and staff. Certain services and amenities may be reduced or unavailable as a result. Spa and massage facilities at this property are unavailable due to Coronavirus (COVID-19) yet. However, we will inform you soon about the spa reopening date. Please inform us of you in advance of your expected arrival time. You can use the Special Requests box when booking, or contact us info@oscarrsort.com directly with the contact details provided in your confirmation. Guests are required to show a photo identification and credit card upon check-in. Please note that all Special Requests are subject to availability and additional charges may apply. Health and Safety

All visitors are entitled to free emergency medical treatment at state hospitals, and all blood banks have been HIV screened – most doctors can converse in English. Many hotels arrange for Medical Services for their guests upon request. Global health insurance policies are also covered in the many private hospitals and clinics located in urban areas. Ezcane’s or chemist shops, which are signed with a large red coloured “E” can recommend medicines for common holiday illnesses, and many drugs such as antibiotics are available cheaply over the counter, with no need for prescriptions. Almost all brands of manufactured European brands can be found. After normal working hours, a few chemists will remain open on rotation until past midnight 7 days a week, the relevant information available on all shop windows. Covid-19 pandemic data in Northern Cyprus

COVID-19 Flight İnformation.



The decisions taken as of July 8, 2020, are as follows.

Those who document the negative PCR test results from the countries in category A, coming to TRNC through Southern Cyprus and made within the last 72 hours, will be able to enter the country through all land border gates without testing or quarantine. However, those who cannot submit PCR results will only be able to enter the country through these two gates, as PCR testing can only be done at the Metehan and Beyarmudu border gates. These people will be kept in quarantine until the test results are available and the test and quarantine fees will be covered by the passenger.

North Cyprus via Turkey from one country to the next person in category B to category rules shall apply.

People coming to the TRNC from countries in category B will be able to enter the country by showing the negative PCR test results they have done between three and five days before the start of the trip. A second PCR test will be carried out to these people at the entrance to TRNC and until the results come out, those who have hotel reservations will insulate themselves at the hotel, and those who will stay at home will insulate themselves as promised. Individuals will be able to enter the country with the PCR test results, which are made between 0-2 days before the start of the trip. However, these people will be quarantined at the centers determined by the Ministry of Health for 3 days and PCR tests will be carried out at the end of the 3rd day. Test and quarantine fees will be covered by the passenger concerned.

Considering the decrease in the number of UK cases, it is anticipated that flights from this country to the island may begin on July 16, 2020. The people who will come to the island from the UK on July 16 will be able to enter the island with the PCR test result, which is negative between three and five days before the boarding date. At the entrance to these people, they will be taken into 7-day quarantine by taking their 2nd PCR. At the end of the quarantine, they will exit the quarantine by taking the 3rd PCR tests. TRNC citizens and TRNC citizens who reside in TRNC will be exempted from quarantine fees.

Following our guests’ demand for accommodation and taking into account the Covid-19 pandemic circumstances, the Oscar Resort Hotel management would like to inform it's customers, that the hotel In response to Covid-19. The Turkish Republic of Northern Cyprus Government has instructed that all hotel operations must be suspended on the date of 15th March 2020. Oscar Resort Hotel is complying with the TRNC government’s and according to requests has temporarily suspended given services and temporarily closed until further notice. At this moment the hotel temporarily closed until 15th October 2020.
If Covid-19 contaminations continue in North & South Cyprus we will extend temporarily closure also after 15th October. Please check our announcements.

We are expecting all airports in Cyprus, all flight company's starting operation action announcements, and also all online and offline travel agents announcements will be markable our opening decision. We hope During mid-October 2020 the main hotel building will open and operate in a limited way. ''reopening will be according to the announcements''.
1) The Food and Beverage outlets pool bar, beach bar, and lobby bar may be open however Spa, the casino will remain closed until further notice.
2) Aqua Pool bar will be available from April 1st, 2021, offering drinks.
3) Reception: the Thermal CCTV temp control at arrival, Reduced time to contact at check-in, front desk screen sanitizer units, sanitized key-cards, and pool/beach towel cards.
4) hotel public Spaces and  Facilities:   Additional  deep cleaning of high touch surfaces, social distancing, ‘last cleaned’ charts,  best practices for pools, spa centers , and  lounges Guest Room:  Visible verification of sanitized items (e.g. glassware, remote control), reduction of in-room furnishings/high-touch items, new laundry protocols, use of electrostatic technology Food and Beverage:  service  approach to buffets, room service, and minibar.
5) The outdoor large pool, aqua water slides, and wave pool of the hotel will be operating normally following all hygiene guidelines. Due to social distance rules and regulations, we will adjust 1.5 mt distance for sun loungers, umbrellas, open buffet, breakfast, dinner in the restaurant, all lifts, lobby bar, lobby terrace, beach, and pools all areas will be adjusted. Our guests can enjoy a comfortable sleep in our rooms, breakfast, and dinner will be served at the main restaurant.
6) Due to safety hygiene regulations, guests will not have an option to order meals from outside of the hotel. However, all our guests can order snacks, lunch, and dinner from our room service.
7) We would also like to assure all our guests that the hotel follows all the health and safety procedures, such as area sanitization, antiseptic liquids in the rooms and public areas, use of medical masks, and gloves. Your Oscar Hotel is getting ready for the new normal. We hope that everything will be very good at this difficult time. We believe that all our guests want to have their previous holidays at the Oscar Resort Hotel again. Therefore, we are preparing to make your dreams come true. Due to the new rules written by Covid-19, it drives us crazy, but we are interested in it and follow the instructions. However, we want to serve a hygienic and clean environment in your second sweet home. Reception, restaurant, and elevators are clearly marked according to the social distance we believe should be 1.5 meters. Temperature measurements continue at the lobby entrance with CCTV thermal camera. In addition to the restaurant and lobby bar, other sales points such as pool bar and beach bar are being prepared.
After July 15, 2020, we hope to start to serve our guests in the main hotel building. If all goes well, we plan to open other room types such as family rooms and poolside suites by the pool at the end of July

Important Announcements: 05/08/2020

In response to Covid-19, Oscar Resort Hotel is temporarily closed. According to COVID-19, we took all necessary precautions and regulations that have been done. Hotel management will announce the reopening date as soon as possible the conditions are getting new normal. (every day regularly we keep checking the new regulations  of both North & South Cyprus airport's gates the flight restrictions, quarantine conditions, etc.)

We are trying to do our best to provide you safety accommodation for your holiday. We are all, looking forward to serving you again soon at your second sweet home.

For the health and safety of our guests and hotel colleagues, and in line with legislation and current best practice, our hotel also operating modified or reduced services e.g. ''reduction in the restaurant and bar service, pools and beach services alternative guest room furnishings and/or amenities, QR Code digital menus of our outlets, social distance marks, and daily outdoor pools chlorine measurements, disinfection with cutting edge ozone machinery rooms, pools, kitchen, general areas, etc.'' These changes are temporary takes place and necessary for C-19 regulations amenity and service levels will be reinstated as soon as possible and in accordance with legal requirements.

All maintenance and cleanleanes, hygiene conditions related to "COVID 19" have been fulfilled and our hotel certificated by the local health department of govenment. We believe that the conditions improve within the period until June 2021, our hotel been keept ready to open again However if uncertainties persist than we will continue to postpone the opening
