Interactive Coronavirus (Covid-19) Travel Regulations

C-19 Updates 14 Rules

Following our guests’ demand for accommodation and taking into account the Covid-19 pandemic circumstances, the Oscar Resort Hotel management would like to inform it's customers, that the hotel In response to Covid-19. The Turkish Republic of Northern Cyprus Government has instructed that all hotel operations must be suspended. Oscar Resort Hotel is complying with the TRNC government’s and according to requests has temporarily suspended given services and temporarily closed until further notice. We are expecting to hear TRNC Governments announcements for the smooth opening. Furthermore, we expect all airports in Cyprus, all flight company's starting operation actions announcements and also all online and offline travel agents announcements will be markable our opening decision. We hope During mid-August 2020, or after eid period the main hotel building will open and operate in a limited way. ''opening will be according to the announcements''. The Food and Beverage outlets pool bar, beach bar and lobby bar may be open however Spa, casino will remain closed until further notice. Aqua Pool bar will be available as from April 1st 2021, offering drinks. Reception: the Thermal CCTV temp control at arrival, Reduced time to contact at check-in, front desk screen sanitiser units, sanitised key-cards and pool/beach towel cards. Public Spaces and  Facilities:   Additional  deep cleaning of high touch surfaces, social distancing, ‘last cleaned’ charts,  best practices for pools, spa centres  and  lounges Guest Room:  Visible verification of sanitised items (e.g. glassware, remote control), reduction of in-room furnishings/high-touch items, new laundry protocols, use of electrostatic technology Food and Beverage:  service  approach to buffets, room service  and minibar. The outdoor large pool, aqua water slides and wave pool of the hotel will be operating normally following all hygiene guidelines. Due to social distance rules and regulations we will adjusted 1.5 mt distance for sun loungers, umbrellas, open buffet, breakfast, dinner in the restaurant, all lifts, lobby bar, lobby terrace, beach and pools all areas will be adjusted. Our guests can enjoy a comfortable sleep in our rooms, breakfast and dinner will be served in at the main restaurant. Due to safety hygiene regulations, guests will not have an option to order meals from outside of the hotel. However, all our guests can order snacks, lunch and dinner from our room service. We would also like to assure all our guests that the hotel follows all the health and safety procedures, such as area sanitisation, antiseptic liquids in the rooms and public areas, use of medical masks and gloves. Important Announcements: 05/08/2020

In response to Covid-19, Oscar Resort Hotel is temporarily closed. According to COVID-19, we took all necessary precautions and regulations that have been done. Hotel management will announce the reopening date as soon as possible the conditions are getting new normal. (every day regularly we keep checking the new regulations  of both North & South Cyprus airport's gates the flight restrictions, quarantine conditions, etc.)

We are trying to do our best to provide you safety accommodation for your holiday. We are all, looking forward to serving you again soon at your second sweet home.

For the health and safety of our guests and hotel colleagues, and in line with legislation and current best practice, our hotel also operating modified or reduced services e.g. ''reduction in the restaurant and bar service, pools and beach services alternative guest room furnishings and/or amenities, QR Code digital menus of our outlets, social distance marks, and daily outdoor pools chlorine measurements, disinfection with cutting edge ozone machinery rooms, pools, kitchen, general areas, etc.'' These changes are temporary takes place and necessary for C-19 regulations amenity and service levels will be reinstated as soon as possible and in accordance with legal requirements.

We apologize for any inconvenience caused and look forward to resuming normal operations and welcoming our guests back at the appropriate time.  We are preparing healthy areas and clean spaces for you.
